We believe that safety is a mindset expressed through professionalism and respect. Caring for others with mental clarity and impartiality conveys respect while fostering professionalism and effective decision-making. In times of crisis, our ability to remain focused and impartial can be challenged due to anxiety and lack of preparedness. E.R.T. for Healthcare minimizes the anxiety experienced during such crises by teaching staff how to identify possible crisis; de-escalate aggression and preserve a safe work environment even during behavioral emergencies. A safe workplace is more easily maintained when staff members are able to competently manage aggression.
To foster competence and self-development, we offer ongoing support to our participants through half-day workshops, as well as through E-mail and membership support material. It is our intention to build an on-going partnership with our participants and their respective facilities to better meet the safety needs of the facility and the learning needs of its staff.
Our E.R.T. for Healthcare team consists of exceptional individuals who understand how safety is accomplished and maintained in the workplace. To maintain the integrity of our program, all of our instructors undergo an extensive mentorship program wherein they work with senior instructors, learning how to teach the E.R.T. for Healthcare program while adhering to our philosophy and guiding principles.
